This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• I'm sick....but I'm actually ok with it, because this means I won't be sick in 10 days when we leave for Florida.
• I have a new blog design in the works....and I'm OH so exited!!!
• I bought Chloe's Christmas Jams for FL in a size S instead of 4T because they didn't have 4T.....gah....she will be swimming in them, but ya know what...they will fit her NEXT year TOO!
• I've become addicted to another store. It's called Simple Addication and it's amazing! Cheap, and super cute stuff!
• I will pack Chloe's bags for FL this weekend, if I have the time.
• We've slowly been giving Chloe Christmas presents here and there....oh well. It's amazing seeing her face light up.
• Chloe is still addicted to Monster's Inc...like, hasn't shown an interest in Monster's University. LOL!
• I made Hubs spend $20 on an Ugly Christmas Sweater that I will only wear once a year....if that.
• I cannot wait to get in the car and drive for 2 days. Like, seriously, jokes aside, because that means, end result is warm and sun....and no work for 9 days!
• I got MORE coffee cups for Christmas from my Secret Santa! YES!!!!!!!

SO WHAT! Wednesday!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• We bought Chloe Monsters University for Christmas, but instead of waiting, we just had to give it to her, only because we couldn't stand to watch Monster's Inc ONE MORE TIME!
• I bought myself a pair of boots from Kohls.com 2 days after I went to the store and purchased another pair of boots....hey! I had $30 Kohls cash, and I got the 2nd pair for $8!! AND Free shipping!!
• I don't own an Ugly Christmas Sweater....but I'm considering buying one because we're having an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest at work next Wednesday.
• The Christmas lights on our second floor probably won't make it up this year....oh well...at least the rest are done and the tree is up.
• I seriously want to make EVERY SINGLE thing on the Emeals Low Fat plan this week....EVERYTHING! And you could too...if you signed up! Still 30% off right now!!
• I forgot to move Peach the Elf last night...so I had to wait until Chloe and Hubs left this morning to move her....she will get a nice surprise when she gets home :-)
• I'm planning to put half of the bonus (that I MIGHT get) toward paying off my credit card...how sad is that? Ugh...wish I could take it ALL to Florida, but no....I have to be a grown up and pay bills first...lol!
• I'm pretty certain that Hubs wants an Xbox for Christmas....but I refuse to spend the money....so I'm pretty sure he's going to buy it for himself...UGH!
• I asked for a Dutch Oven, a food processor, and a Shark Steam Mop for Christmas from Andy's Dad...yea, boring  house stuff...
• We're getting a Dishwasher from Andy's Mom for Christmas....call me crazy, but I AM pretty excited about that! Ours is a piece!!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• We got Chloe's hair cut over a week ago, and I'm impatiently waiting for the growth spurt to start.
• My hair grows way too fast, and it REALLY annoys me that I have to get it cut/highlighted every 5 weeks.
• I'm not looking forward to driving to FL in a MONTH from now...I just want to poof myself there....
• I could not wait to watch the Originals....then I recorded 5 episodes and watched them all this weekend, and now I'm addicted and I can't wait for the next episode!
• I bought myself a pink North Face Oso Hoodie for Christmas....from Amazon, 2nd day shipping because I'm that impatient....and Yes, I will be wearing it as soon as I get it. I cannot wait until Christmas.
• I'm tempted to start packing Chloe's Florida bags....I mean, why not, right? She won't be wearing any of her spring/summer stuff in Michigan right now, right?
• I'm constantly looking for tutu's and new leotards for Chloe for dance class....aaahhhh, it's an obsession now!
• Chloe needs....YES, NEEDS a cute little Ballet bag. Any suggestions on where to find one, and not TOO overly expensive?

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• I have about 6 bottles of perfume that I use on a regular basis, and I'm currently trying to get that down to 1-2 bottles TOPS. 
• I do a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar everyday!
• I secretly REALLY hope that it snows soon.....
• I'm pretty sure I'm getting my blog redone this month, and I cannot wait until I get that email!!!
• My mug that I use at work says "Mommy's sippy cup" and I wish it had more than just coffee or tea in it most days.
• We have already gotten Chloe mostly done for Christmas! We spend $200 on her at TRU!
• I feel naked without my rings. I'm having my engagement ring and wedding ring solder together.
• I can't wait to get home and not have to make dinner tonight!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• We spend about $60 on Chloe's school pics - SOOOO worth it!
• I have not been a very good Wifey (housewife) lately....like, cooking...eh, Yea, not the best. Need to get back on track.
• Staying home with Chloe last week while she was contagious made it really hard for me to want to come back to work this week. It was only 2 days, but that time with her was awesome.
• I want to go out and spend a lot of money on a ton of Fall/Halloween decorations. Not sure why...just really in the mood right now.
• I'm trying to be a tea drinker, and limit my coffee intake to no more then 2-3 a day.
• We bought the new Shark Rotator vacuum and we are slightly obsessed! LOVE IT!
• 65 days until we leave for Florida....time to crack down again and start getting fit.

Seed Florida Vacation 2013

I know it's like almost a month later....but things have been happening around here. We've been living life. We've been painting and renovating, cleaning and getting this house in the shape we want it to be in after almost living here for a year.
So....here they are. These are the phone pictures that I took....I still haven't put the real camera pics on the computer yet, so that post will be another day.

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

• I kind of feel like doing one of those "Nah nah nah boo boo! Cuz we're leaving for Florida tomorrow!
• Every time I type Florida, I want to type Floriday! Like Florida and Yay put together....
• I've been packed since Sunday....Chloe since like last week sometime.
• I may or may not have packed and repacked my bag 2-3 times....Just to make sure everything was in there...all 36 outfits for the 7 days we will be gone.
• This might be my last real post until I get back from Florida. Unless I get some down time and decide to upload some beach pics.
• I say this will be my last post, but I'm sure I'll manage a SWW post next week too.
• I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to put in Chloe's Easter Basket....I think I'll wait and shop when we're in FL in hopes of finding some cool stuff I wouldn't have found here.
• When I went grocery shopping this weekend, I didn't get anything for lunch for the 3 days of work....Fail!
• I was a giddy Mom when Chloe finally let me put footie jams on her the other day! So, now I'm all happy because that's what she's wearing the night before we leave so I can put her in the car all nice and cozy in her footies and not have to change her and just throw a blanket over her!
• Even though I know I can't read in the car, I'm going to try and read on my Kindle on the way down to FL so I can (gasp) finish 50 Shades Freed......

My packing Style

I'm not sure if it's just me, but when it comes to packing, I'm just a little bit OCD....well, maybe a lot. I make lists, and more lists, and I drive myself pretty much crazy until I know that everything is absolutely crossed off....these are some of the lists that I've made so far.

The one on the left is the grocery list of things we will need for the ride down to Florida. Snacks and such. And the one on the right is the clothes and toiletries items that we will need. Chloe is pretty much already packed. Except for her bath and toiletries stuff.

Now when packing Chloe's things, I had to put the clothes in the luggage according to outfit. And I've been thinking since I did it, I might actually redo it and put all the different outfits in separate bags. According to day. I don't know. We shall see.....

This weekend will be the big packing and cleaning time for us. I'll get all my clothes packed and try and set out my clothes for the week for work so that I'm not rummaging through and make a mess. (Yes, I know, I'm crazy.) I did mine according to outfit as I did Chloe's, and when I was watching Andy pack his stuff, I was just cringing....ugh. Men!

I'm one of those people that have to have a bag for EVERYTHING! I have a bag with all the toiletries. A bag with my hair stuff, a bag for shoes. We have a separate bag with everything for both hotel stays.

All the beach stuff has a bag of it's own complete with sunscreen and all. But the bathing suits are in the luggage...weird? We also have a paper grocery bag stocked full of snacks....and then a couple of coolers and insulated lunch bags for sandwiches and other things that need to stay cold.

 This all may sound crazy to you, but to me, it's organized, and you could ask me where ANYTHING is and I'd be able to tell you EXACTLY where it is! Trust me!

Done Smoking and Done with School!

I know you are probably going “What?! I thought you guys quit like a year ago?!” Well…we did! And I hate to admit it, but we didn’t quit for very long. Andy being in school, busy with work…other things going on. I don’t have the greatest will power, and if I went out with my girls for a night, I would want to smoke because I was drinking…..oh well, so shoot me.

Now, it’s been 3 long years since He’s started school. I remember it very well, actually. I was a mere 16 weeks pregnant when we were on the train headed to Chicago for my birthday weekend! He was studying to test out of a class so that he wouldn’t have to take it….and I was, reading Vampire Diaries. I remember that he was studying a lot while we were in the hotel room, and I actually remember feeling Chloe kick for the first time that weekend too. It was all pretty amazing.

Btw-I feel the need to say that I did NOT smoke while I was pregnant…And either did Andy. We actually didn’t smoke for about 2 years prior to me getting pregnant, and that continued all the way up until Chloe’s first birthday….

Anyways, I kind of got off track there for a second.

This is like the moment we have all been waiting for, kind of. Through this whole thing, we both said that we were going to quit smoking when he was done with school…just so that pressure and stress was gone and there wasn’t the urge anymore. And it was just be much easier. So here we are. Today is the day!(Well....Monday was the day) He’s done with school….FINALLY! I have my husband back, Chloe’s got her fun loving Daddy back. He won’t be sitting on the floor in the middle of the living room doing homework anymore. He can hang out with us on the weekends again. We will be able to take Chloe to Chuck E Cheese (for the first time) and maybe even bowling…..I just can’t wait for all the fun stuff we’re going to be able to do now. It’s going to be awesome!

So, next week we leave for Florida… 

SO WHAT! Wednesday!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! if:

• Chloe is pretty much already packed for Florida....except for her toiletries.
• I look forward every week to organizing and making grocery lists and shopping.
• Sometimes I forget that I need to drink water after drinking coffee until about 1pm.
• Chloe isn't potty trained. She only goes on the potty when she feels like it. And until we're home from Florida, I'm ok with that.
• Chloe throws a fit if she can't wear her little white "dance shoes". She HAS to change into them as soon as we get home!
• Chloe has a cold, and I'm glad that she got it now instead of next week when we leave for Florida.
• If I can help it, I try not to get gas if it's cold outside...and it seems that every time I need gas, it's cold and blustery...UGH!
• Sometimes I sit and play Candy Crush while Chloe is playing in the bath.
• I'm actually looking forward to cleaning and packing this weekend.
• I need to change my grocery shopping day because the Meijer I go to is usually out of a lot of stock when I go on Sunday. So I might start going on a Thursday or Friday instead...see if I have better luck!

Fab Friday!

• Weight Loss - Slowly but surely I'm losing the weight that I want to lose for our Florida trip at the end of March! I'm so happy about the way it's coming off. First goal was to hit 120, and now that I've surpassed that, I'm going for 115! I know that I can do it! I know that once we get to Florida and are in vaca mode, we're going to gain a little bit back, but I fully intend to keep with the MFP and try to keep working out (or shall I say, start) while we're down there.

• Pants that haven't fit in 3 years - To add to the first bullet point on losing the weight, I was able to fit into a pair of pants that haven't really fit me since before Chloe was conceived. That was an amazing feeling yesterday! For the past few months, I feel like I've worn nothing but leggings and stretchy pants....and yesterday I was just not in the mood for leggings. So glad I took that leap. Made me a happy girl!

• Potty Training - We aren't really training, per say, but she's now telling us when she needs to go, sometimes....sometimes it's after she's already gone, but that's a major step for us! She's understanding more and more that she's wet and needs to be changed. And she's actually interested in sitting on the potty more and more now. So I feel like we're getting somewhere. And that makes me happy. Will we be trained before we go to Florida, probably not. But that's ok with me.

• New Room at Day Care - She's loving it! And let me tell you, I think it's that she's trying to keep up with the big kids, but good lawd, she's tried at night, and I love it! She hasn't really been fighting bed time....(except last night) but I think that was our fault. But she's doing great, her teachers are great, and once she gets settled in her new room, they are going to REALLY push potty training! And I think that when she sees all her friends going potty and wearing undies and using the potty on a norm, she's going to get it and do it right along with them! I cannot wait! No more diapers in our near future!

• And last but not least....Tuesday is my birthday! I'm actually pretty excited. I get the day off work....PAID! And Hubs is taking the day off work to spend it with me while Chloe goes to day care. I cannot wait! We're actually going to get our eyes checked together. HA! That should be interesting....his first time every getting his eyes checked, and well, I'm going because I need new glasses. So it should be fun. Lunch at PF Changs, and it should be a good day! 

Fab Friday

It's been a few weeks since I've linked up with the Always Fabulous Laura from The Everyday Joys! She's amazing in every single way a blogger can be, and to top it all off, she's on my Scentsy team....(or shall I say, I'm on hers....lol) Anyways, here is my list of Fab things that are....well....Fab for me:

• Our Day Care Tuition goes down starting today! We prepay for the 2 weeks ahead, and Chloe starts room 6 on Monday, so today's Tuition payment is $470 instead of $570! Sucks that we have to start supplying them with diapers, but that's only until she is potty trained! Thank the dear lord!
• The scale has been fabulous for me this week...it actually hasn't moved up or down, and for me, that's a win! I don't care that I don't see it moving, as long as it's not going up, that works for me. I've been VERY VERY consistent with my tracking calories and I've been under, or over by very little for the past month! So that, for me is awesome!
• Only 5 more weeks until we go to Florida and I have pretty much everything Chloe and I need as far as warmer weather clothing goes! I am sooooo stoked! She's got a few new pairs of shorts, some summer dresses, and some amazingly cute pink canvas TOMS that I ordered from Zulily yesterday! I cannot wait to get them! I just hope they make it here before we leave.....
• My work girls are amazingly sweet in that they are all helping me meet my goals for Scentsy this month.....AND because they are ordering from me, I will be able to get some stock for my parties and order some of the scents that are being discontinued! I am Soooooo excited!
• And last but not least, and maybe possibly one of the best things, because it's the one happening the soonest.....tomorrow me and my girl Mallory are getting matching tattoos! Just little outlines of hearts on out ankles. I cannot wait! 
• Oh, and to top that off....My birthday is March 5th! YAY!

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! if:

• We didn't work out except for the 300 ab twice last week....Fail!
• We have only been in our new house since June, so....about 8 months, and we're already switching internet providers! We're sick of slow internet! Comcast, please be good to us!
• I'm starting a list of Scentsy wax that I am going to be ordering at the end of the month! It's sick how many of my favorites are being discontinued. Make sure you check yours out so you can stock up too! www.cseed.scentsy.us.
• I'm finally realizing that hard work and dedication is really what makes you lose the weight! I've been counting my calories on MFP for the past almost month now, and I am hanging tight in my goal range of 120lbs!
• I'm comfortable where I am with my weight, but I'd like to be closer to 115 when we go to FL. Just to have that sexy beach body that I've been yearning for!
• I have bought so many new clothes and accessories lately, I pretty much have a whole new wardrobe for FL! I love it! And Chloe is about the same. We're ready for the sunshine!
• I'm counting down the last 28 days of Andy's school work....Oh, it's almost done!
• If I'm almost certain that I'm buying myself the Grace Adele Shelby bag for my birthday!

Florida 2013

It's pretty much official. We have the dates, we just need to book the condo! March 28th - April 5th! So Super excited!!! We're starting our 2 day drive on March 28th. We will arrive on March 30th. We will have March 30th - April 4th to relax and enjoy the wonderful Florida sun and warmth, and then we start the 2 day drive back to Michigan on April 5th. I'm so exited you don't even know!

This is what I looked like the last time we went to Florida. This was March 2009....see that tan skin and that tight stomach! Oh lord....this time will be just a LITTLE bit different, but still so much fun, and this time we will have our girl with us, and I just KNOW she's going to have a blast! A whole week with Gamma?! Come on, how much better could that be?! We're all so excited, and this Momma is going to REALLY get on the good eating and working out track so I can get my body somewhat back to look like THAT!
