SO WHAT! Wednesday!

So What Wednesday
This week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:

  • I've been craving some bad bad chinese food....so for my birthday next week (while Chloe is a day care) Andy's taking the day off work with me and we're going to PF Changs! It's actually good Chinese, but Chinese nontheless!
  • I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my friends baby boy so that I have a little squishy newborn to snuggle!!! I cannot wait! If she doesn't go into labor on her own, little Benjamin will be here tomorrow!!!
  • We are counting down the days until March 18th for Andy to be done with School! It cannot come fast enough!
  • I'm pretty sure our taxes are already spent. Credit cards, new pots and pants, and we need a new crock pot too....ours keeps on over cooking stuff...Booo!
  • I'm happy about Chloe moving to the next room up at school because now they play REALLY hard, and that means she's REALLY tired by the time bed time gets here, and she doesn't fight it AT ALL! Amen to that!
  • I was going to buy myself some TOMS on Zulily when they had them, but I only got Chloe a pair, so that means Mama gets the $10 ones from Dots...oh well....Chloe has better shoes then me, it's ok!
  • I got another tattoo. It's a heart on the back of my ankle. And I already can't wait to get a matching one of the other ankle. Yep, it's happening.

  • If I put that picture in there to make this post look longer. HA!
Head on over to Shannon's blog, check out her face lift (blog, not her face...LOL!) and tell us what you are saying SO WHAT! to this week!

Fab Friday

It's been a few weeks since I've linked up with the Always Fabulous Laura from The Everyday Joys! She's amazing in every single way a blogger can be, and to top it all off, she's on my Scentsy team....(or shall I say, I'm on hers....lol) Anyways, here is my list of Fab things that are....well....Fab for me:

  • Our Day Care Tuition goes down starting today! We prepay for the 2 weeks ahead, and Chloe starts room 6 on Monday, so today's Tuition payment is $470 instead of $570! Sucks that we have to start supplying them with diapers, but that's only until she is potty trained! Thank the dear lord!
  • The scale has been fabulous for me this week...it actually hasn't moved up or down, and for me, that's a win! I don't care that I don't see it moving, as long as it's not going up, that works for me. I've been VERY VERY consistent with my tracking calories and I've been under, or over by very little for the past month! So that, for me is awesome!
  • Only 5 more weeks until we go to Florida and I have pretty much everything Chloe and I need as far as warmer weather clothing goes! I am sooooo stoked! She's got a few new pairs of shorts, some summer dresses, and some amazingly cute pink canvas TOMS that I ordered from Zulily yesterday! I cannot wait to get them! I just hope they make it here before we leave.....
  • My work girls are amazingly sweet in that they are all helping me meet my goals for Scentsy this month.....AND because they are ordering from me, I will be able to get some stock for my parties and order some of the scents that are being discontinued! I am Soooooo excited!
  • And last but not least, and maybe possibly one of the best things, because it's the one happening the soonest.....tomorrow me and my girl Mallory are getting matching tattoos! Just little outlines of hearts on out ankles. I cannot wait!
  • Oh, and to top that off....My birthday is March 5th! YAY!

Fab Friday

Linking up with Laura over at Between the Lines Blog for Fab Friday! This is where we talk about everything that is Fab in our lives!

  • First and foremost, I want to call out Voxor! I absolutely love this app even better then HeyTell! First, it's awesome because HeyTell just plain sucked....it always froze on me, and you could only talk for a certain amount of time before you had to send another message to finish your throught. And....on top of those amazing things, it's pretty much like talking on a phone because you can literally listen to the person talking WHILE they are talking and they can listen to you right back. You don't have to wait until they are done talking, and the message is sent. How great is that?!
  • Second Fab thing is actually a really amazing person. She is not a blogger, but I'm pretty sure she reads every once in awhile. So, her name is Jane, and she's an amazing person inside and out! I love her with all my heart, as she is one of my very best girlfriends! We worked together up until a few weeks ago when she was let go....sad sad day! Work isn't the same without her, but we still talk and keep in touch and hang out when we can. Just last night she came over for some girl talk and wine, and she also cut Chloe's hair! How amazing is that?! Not only is she a GREAT friend, but she cuts mine and Chloe's hair and she also colors mine when I need it too!! Best friend who is also a hairdresser?? Can't go wrong with that!

  • And one last Fab thing is the Holidays! I seriously cannot get over this time of year right now! It's the best thing that I've ever seen, seeing my little girl look at the Christmas tree and see the presents under it. And in the morning when we try to find Peach the Elf in her new spot. She just loves it and her eyes just light up! I cannot wait until Christmas morning! She's going to love it!

SO WHAT! Wednesday!

So What Wednesday
This week I'm saying SO WHAT! if:

  • We probably aren't getting the Galaxy S 3....we don't want to pay $199 for it :-( Guess we will wait until it goes on sale somewhere.
  • I'm kind of way to excited about Fall TV! TVD!! Yay!!!
  • Scentsy has been really slow for me in October. I guess I should have known after exceeding $1,000 in September. Lets just hope my 2 parties bring in some $$!
  • I have a feeling I have gained a lot of weight this week....I haven't been watching what I'm eating AT ALL, and we did NOT start working out. UGH, whatever, so sue me.
  • I kind of wish Chloe had never discovered Barney....gah! I could deal with Mickey 10x over Barney.
  • We paid $54 for Chloe's "school pictures"! Seriously?! She's 2, and in DAY CARE!!!! Ugh, SHOOT me! Lucky this girl is so gosh darn cute that I couldn't bare the thought of NOT getting them!
  • Chloe's Halloween costume is a hand-me-down butterfly from our friends with Twin Girls! Love them, and love the fact that we didn't pay for a new costume this year! Yea!!!!
  • I am patiently waiting for my friend Cassie to have her baby so that I can cure my baby fevah without actually having a baby myself. LOL! She's only like 21 weeks.....the next 20 weeks better FLY by!
That's all I have for this week! Make sure to go link up with Shannon over at Life After I "Dew" and tell us what you're saying SO WHAT! to this week!

Weekend Recap

Just a little weekend recap because I was too busy this weekend to do any real blogging....

Friday night was pretty low key. We actually watched Will and Cassie's girls for them for a few hours while they went out to eat! It's always a pleasure having them! They are such good girls! We ate dinner and then we watched a movie that they brought over!
Saturday was supposed to be my ThirtyOne party for my girl Mallory, but literally NOBODY wanted to come. Not one person that I invited ever RSVP'd. So, we had planned on doing a manicure night....but due to a few turn of events that didn't happen either. No biggie. We were invited over to my sister's house for a pool party. We went, we swam, we had a blast, and we saw people that we haven't seen in over 6 months! It was a good time!!
Sunday was a good day as well! We had a pretty lazy morning. Ate breakfast, which I think is Chloe's favorite meal of the day...specially when it involves pancakes and sausage!! We went over to the Lake House to water the plants while the parents are in FL. And then we came home, fed Chloe lunch and put her down for a nap. She needed a good one, as we had our Family/her 2 year photo shoot later that night. 6pm at Kensington Metropark! And, omg!!! Seriously cannot wait for you guys to see these pics! All Nature, All cute and probably our best to date! I'm so excited for them! I can't wait to post some more sneak peaks this week as they are posted by my photographer on Facebook!

Well, that was our weekend in a nut shell! How was yours? Do anything fun??
Also, just to remind you, I do have my August Online Party open on my Scentsy site for orders until the 31st! Almost everything is on sale for 10% off!! You do not want to miss this sale! And if your favorite scent, or a warmer that you like is being discontinued, which you can see if it is here....Please! Order it! Because after the 31st, they will be gone! So SO sad to see some of these scents leave!!

Vacation Recap

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Except for the million hours that we spent in the car. That was the hardest part of it all! Chloe did SOOO good though! I was really surprised at how well she did with being in the car for like a total of 40 hours. It was nuts. I was going more crazy then she was.
But that's besides the point.
So, We left Friday the 13th. We got to our hotel in Syracuse New York around 11:30pm Friday night. Got up had breakfast and back on the road by 10am Saturday morning for the rest of the drive. We got to the condo in Sprucehead, ME around 9am Saturday night. Let me tell you, I was never so happy to get out of the car...it was just crazy! Felt like we were never going to get there.
Sunday's plan was to just kind of hang out and do nothing....but that didn't happen. We pretty much spent all day in downtown Rockland. Had lunch at the WORST possible place EVER! It was horrible!!!! Don't ever go to Rock Harbor if you are ever in Rockland, ME. I ordered Nachos, and they were literally microwaved nachos. Nasty! Husband ordered a Lobster Roll, and it came out on a piece of white wonder bread....NOT what he wanted. We ordered Chloe a turkey and cheese sandwich, and I'm not even kidding you, that tasted better then all our food. The only good thing we ate there was probably the veggie/hummus plate that Will and Cassie got as an appetizer.
So after that we went to a little coffee shop/bakery place, and I got Chloe a oatmeal raisin cookie and myself a coffee. THAT was good! Chloe gobbled her cookie up. She loved it!
Monday, the boys went golfing in Rockland. And I spent the morning with Cassie and the girls AND my BBFF Stepha at the beach!! You can read about that here and here! We had SUCH a good time, and her little girl is just the sweetest thing EVER! I loved her so much!! She was full of hugs and just wanted to take Chloe's had and go go go the whole time they were together!
So then once we packed up and went our separate ways, Cassie and I and her girls went back to the house and made the kids lunch and I took nap with Chloe. Once the boys got back we just hung out a little, went for some walks with the girls and just chilled.
Tuesday we went back to downtown Rockland and had lunch at Clan Maclarens. That place was super yummy!! Super fresh and just much better then our first experience at Rock Harbor. Husband Lobster roll was just that! A fresh, lobster roll on a ROLL and not White Bread! I got a tomatoe/Mozz panini! It was delish! Chloe got a little turkey cheese veggie toddler platter. That was good too! Then after that, Cassie and I went to get our nails done. We went to Skyn Klinik! And it was just an amazing experience. Cassie got a gel manicure and I got a spa pedicure. So relaxing!
Wednesday we took the 2 hour drive up to Acadia National Park. We probably could have planned that a little bit better, but that's ok. We went and we've seen it. We went to the top of Cadillac Mountain....and Omg, let me tell you. That was an experience. I'm not a major fan of heights.....so that was a little bit of a struggle for me. But at least I can say that I did it. We wanted to go the beach there, but we couldn't find any parking. So we just left. After driving around downtown Bar Harbor for a while to try and find somewhere to eat, and not being able to find a parking spot, we just drove down the road a little bit and found a place on the side of the road. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but it was really good!
Thursday we relaxed and just did a lot of cleaning, and then Friday we got up bright and early and left by 8:30am. Got to the hotel in New York around 5:30pm. Woke up and got back on the road by 9am the next morning...home by about 6:30 Saturday night.
Great Vacation with Great Friends! What more could you ask for?
Stay tuned tomorrow for a photo dump....I promise, it won't disappoint!

Friday Letter's {From Maine}

Photobucket

Linking up with Ashley at Adventures of Newlyweds for another Friday Letters! This week I'm writing from Maine. We're actually on our way home today. So this was typed out on Tuesday night because that's the only time that I really had to blog. So, here we go.

Dear Maine, Thank you for your hospitality! As weird as your culture is compared to Michigan, we had a F**king BLAST!!! Dear Chloe, you are an amazing little girl! With the exception of the few meltdowns you did have, you were amazing on this trip! We couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you! Dear Will and Cassie, I want to thank you guys for spending this week with us! It was great to spend the time with you guys and the girls and I can't wait for what's ahead in your lifes! Sooooo exciting! Dear Husband, You're a trooper, FOR SURE! I know that it's tough vacationing with a toddler, but you rocked it out! Dear Mother In Law, Thank you for watching over our new house and making sure that our kitty was fed and safe! We appreciate you more then you will ever know! Dear MMCH, thank you for being invented! I'm sure without you we would have had a screaming toddler for a full 20 hour drive to Maine and HOME! That would not have been fun....

How Blogs Make Friends

Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I was the most popular girl in school, or that I was the head cheerleader or that I was the prettiest....cuz I was not. I was none of those things. I was actually kind of picked on throughout Middle School, and kind of came into my own in high school but just stuck to my group of friends.
After meeting Husband, that was kind of it for me. I was graduated from high school and done with that part of my life. So I was ready to get out there. Husband proposed to me when I was 19 years old. (On my 19th birthday to be exact....) and after that it was just all wedding wedding wedding!!! I didn't have time for friends. And then after Chloe came into this world, there is even less time. I literally have NO IRL friends. Sad? No, I don't think so. I have my work girls. But I mean, I don't hang out with any of them after work besides my girl Mallory over at I'm Mallory and These are my Thoughts. But I've known her since we were like REALLY young. So that's different. We're kind of like sisters.
So then we come to the time when I started this here blog. I had absolutely NO intentions of getting any followers....did not even think that I would make it as far as I have. I have 92 followers, and that number grows daily! But the real reason for this post is to mention the amount of love and respect I've gotten over this blog. It's amazing. You girls that read about my life are just the bees knees!! I love you all sooo much!!! But, there is one girl that I especially must say that has grown on me and I just can't get enough of her! Her name is Stephanie and she writes the Ecstatically Us blog. I'm not going to link her blog because she has chosen to go private, but I just want her to know that she was one of the very first blogs that I started reading when I first started writing, and from the very first post that I read and her "About Me" section, I thought that we had SO much in common, and that she was just an amazing girl through and through! And now? We Hey Tell pretty much every day! And....Husband and I and some of our best friends (IRL) are going to Maine in July and Stephanie and I are trying to figure out a way that we can meet....she lives a few hours from where we will be, but her and her Hubs are planning a road trip around the same time! How stinkin perfect would that be?! Her baby girl Arabella is 1 month younger then my Chloe, and I think they would just be perfect little friends!!!
So, Stephanie, if you are reading this. I just want to thank you for being a GREAT Bloggy friend, and I hope that one day we get to be IRL friends!!! <3

Less then a month, Ya'll!!!

I redid my dry erase board last Saturday for June. Once I got to the 29th I realized that we only have less then a month left in our house!! I'm sad about this. But at the same time I'm excited. We just need to hear something on our new house so we can hopefully start moving into it!! The appraisal was done last week. So, we're hoping that maybe this week, we hear that everything is good and we can set a closing date.
Like I've told you girls before, the renters are moving in on June 29th. So we have to be moved out by then. We're planning on like a week before that so that we have the time to clean, paint and all that good stuff. It's going to be really hard though. Husbands sister's graduation party is this weekend. Then on the 16th I have a work meeting that is going to last most of the day. And then Father's Day is the 17th....Aaaah! So, we're going to be REALLY REALLY busy this month. Like, busier then I think we may have ever been, ever in our 8 years together. Parties, Toddler, moving...aahhh!!!! It's going to be really hectic. But, nothing that a few alcoholic beverages won't be able to ease, I'm sure.
What I'm hoping for, I think is that my MIL won't mind maybe watching Chloe for a few hours a few days so that we can get shit moved and maybe paint if we need to. And then on moving day, I'm really hoping that she will take her. I can't imagine trying to juggle a toddler while moving. That would just be hell. And since we don't trust Chloe staying at their house, due to their dog that wants to maul Chloe every chance she gets, they will have to hang out in an empty house while we go back and forth moving. But that's ok! I'm sure they wont mind a bit.
Well, ladies. I wrote this up on Saturday night. I had a good bloggin' mojo going on and got most of my posts written up or at least drafted for the week. So, lets hope that by the time this goes live, that we will have already heard on the house and will know when we are closing.
Pray for us!
Thank you!

Memorial Day Weekend

We really didn't do a whole lot on Saturday. Kind of just hung out and did some packing and rented a moving truck to move a lot of stuff into our storage unit. Feels good to get stuff moved. Our house is looking pretty bare right now. It's making this whole moving thing a lot more real.
Sunday morning was pretty dull. Husband did a lot of homework while Chloe and I just hung out a lot. She took a pretty short nap around 1:30 and when she woke up we went over to our friends Will and Cassie's house for their Memorial Day Weekend party. They have 3 year old twin girls. So I was super excited for Chloe to be able to play with them! We haven't seen them in a little while, and the last time we hung out with them it wasn't nice enough outside to be outside. And if I remember correctly, Chloe wasn't really into playing with them. But this time?! OMG!! She was loving it!!!! She was running around and being wild, and it was soooo good to see her getting along with them! I can't wait until we move, because our house is like 5 minutes away from their house, so it's going to be really nice to be able to hang out with them more often!! I cannot wait for that! And since Chloe really likes playing with their girls, they will be able to babysit for us when we need a night out! That makes me sooo happy!!
Monday we went out to the Lake house and just hung out outside allllllll day! I was in heaven! Chloe was able to play and Mama got some much needed sun! Thank God for that. These legs were ghostly!
So, there you have it. That's how we spent our long weekend! How was yours?! I'd love to hear about it!

Weekend Recap

I don't really have much more for you this Monday then just a weekend recap. We had a pretty busy weekend. For the most part it wasn't too bad, but it was busier then most. Saturday was Husbands Dad's birthday and we were supposed to go over to his house for the weekend, but he decided to go out somewhere else and didn't accept our offer to drive out. So we ended up not doing that. We did have my Nieces First Communion Saturday evening though. That was fun! Full Church service and dinner after. Now, I actually have a story about this. I had a super cute outfit picked out for Chloe to wear. Pink and white stripe dress with a teal cardi to go over it. Chloe laid down for a nap around 1 something, and woke up around 3:30....Just in time to get her to wake up enough and get ready and be at church by 5, I thought....But that wasn't the case. She woke up around 3 ish screaming and crying like she was in some kind of pain. I thought that maybe she had to go poo poo. She's been having a hard time with this every once in a while, so that's automatically what I thought it was. She was showing all her normal "I have to poo" signs. So I went and got Husband for some help and we did what we always do. But, No poo. So we just let her rest a little and then tried to get her dressed and ready to go. She REFUSED to wear the dress that I had sitting out for her. So I got another dress out, and she didn't want to wear that one either. But she wasn't AS against that one, so we went with it. Then, the shoes? Cute sandles? Yea, NOT! Guess again....the only shoes she would allow us to get NEAR her feet were her dirty tennis shoes that she wears to day care. Ugh....whatever. Lets just go.
On the way to the church I said to Chloe "Are you going to be cranky and difficult at church today?"
"Nooooo"
Daddy - "I'll bet my life savings against that!"

On the way out of church
Daddy-"Boy am I glad I didn't bet my life savings!"

Seriously! She was SOOOOO good during the service! Like an Angel! I was shocked! The way she was before we left the house, I would have never thought.
So, by this time it was WAY past her dinner time, and we hadn't even gotten to the restaurant yet, so we stopped for McDonalds for Chloe so she could eat something right now. Got her some Chicken nuggets and apples. So she was good while we ate. And she still decided that she was a little hungry for a whole helping and a half of brocolli while we were eating. So that was good. She did really good with my parents and brother and sister-in-law. She loved my niece, and my Dad best of all. And by the end of the night she was giving hugs and kisses out everywhere. So that was really good!!!
Sunday, I had planned for a really fun and exciting Mommy Daughter day out. Daddy went golfing for his best buds birthday. But once Chloe and I got out to Target for a few things, she was tired....so we went home, ate lunch and she took an hour and a half long nap. Woke up watched a little bit of MMCH and then went to BRU for some new bath toys. And that was the extent of our great, fabulous Mommy Daughter day. Not exactly how I wanted it to go, but oh well. We had fun with it...besides when she was crying for her Daddy.....yea. I'm pretty sure she saw a white car at BRU....she pointed to it, got a really sad, pouty lip look on her face and said "Daddy...." and started crying. I died.....yea, She loves him.
Next Weekend is Mothers Day and my Daddy's birthday. They live up north, so I won't be seeing them, but We will be doing something fun for MY day. So, you will see that post next week, I'm sure!
Happy Monday all...have a Great Week!!
