TNG Moving Day

Not only did I just move to a new home, but now my company is moving our building. We're moving into our warehouse, which is about 20 minutes from where we are.
Yesterday we packed up our desks, and today they are breaking down all the furniture and taking it to the other building. So I'm working from a conference room. Which is fun. lol!!
Starting Monday I'll be working in a whole new building. Kinda crazy. So we shall see.
I'm excited.
I have to go to the warehouse on Sunday to make sure my desk is set up. Not really looking forward to that, so hoping that doesn't take too long.
Wish me luck!

My Life In an Instagram!

Linking up with Liz for another week of My life in An Instagram!

This was before the furniture in our new family room! She loved that her chair was the only thing in there.

Girlfriend loves her new bathroom, and so does Mama!!

This was before we moved. Shadow was just enjoying her last few hours in our bed.

Got my ring cleaned at the jewelers for the first time in forever!

She was eating her fresh fruit in her tent Wednesday morning!

Yep, this is my new house key! I love it!

This was her first time in the new house after we closed! I promise she was more happy then she looked...the picture just caught her between squeeling and laughing. LOL!

Moved In

Alright Guys, I'm going to warn you....my blogging is probably going to suck here for the next week or so. We're feverishly working to get everything organized and put away in our new house. I'm hoping that we have it clean enough so that I can post about the house with some photos and possibly a tour video next week! That will be my goal! But for now, here is what's happened so far.
Chloe's room was the first to get put together. We just didn't want her to miss a beat. She has yet to nap in her new room though. Saturday was moving day and there was just too much going on, and her bed wasn't set up until night time. And then Sunday was spent at the "old" house packing more stuff and painting Chloe's "old room". So she got a little itty bitty nap in the car, but nothing to brag about. And then she's been at day care like normal this week....so we shall see some Saturday how she naps in her new room. We just bought some room darkening blinds last night. I'm pretty excited about those! Originally I wanted to get them in brown because we have decided to paint her room the same as it was back at the other house. {pink and green} But we went to a new Target, out by our new house, and they didn't have the brown ones that I wanted. So instead, we got pink and green. So, what we're going to do is paint the wall that her crib is on pink because the curtain next to that is green, and then the wall that the closet is on, is going to be painted green because for one, that's the smallest area to paint, and the green is a little over powering for a whole wall. And so with the curtains, it will have the effect that all the walls are painted. So I'm thinking it will look really good. And then eventually, like within the next few months, we will paint the walls with the curtains white. But, just not yet. There is no need for that yet. And by that I mean, I don't feel like it.
As for the Family room and our bed room....we got the furniture for those delivered yesterday. For our Furniture we got a sectional with an ottoman. And boy let me tell you, it's super comfy! It's a bit bigger then what we had originally planned, but the way we have it set up, it kind of sections off the room, and gives Chloe a little bit of play area behind it. So that's nice!! And our Master Bedroom furniture is just to DIE for! It's dark brown. We got the bed, 2 nightstands and a dresser with a mirror. I can't wait for you guys to see it!!!!
Alright, I'm done talking your ear off now....I'll work my ass off to get everything in working/organized order and make sure that I have a post with pics/video for your viewing pleasure next week!

So WHAT! Wednesday

This week I'm saying SO WHAT! if:
  • I'm typing this up on Friday night because I won't have internet at the new house until Tuesday night.
  • I really don't know what to say SO WHAT! to at this moment in time....
  • I might have to update this list as I get time at work or from my phone.
  • I feel absolutely horrible about not being able to keep up with my blogging Monday and Tuesday.
  • I hope to be moved in and all organized before we get internet so I'll be able to sit and blog.
  • It's Wednesday morning, and we finally have the internet, and we're still not organized...moved in, yes. But not organized....lol
  • I have to wake up 15 minutes earlier then I used to because I live farther from work....but the location and house is SOOOO worth that extra 15 minutes of sleep!
That's it for me for now. Go link up with Shannon over at L.A.I.D!!

New House Stuff

Our Internet is supposed to be installed today. And our cable is supposed to be installed tomorrow.....so wish us luck that this happens. I'm sure by this time, no exaggeration, we've probably watched Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD's about 856242586455 times....And I'm probably already bald from pulling my hair out....so yea.
Friday night Husband and I spent hours on the internet at our "old house" on all the different websites we could think of changing our address...boy was that fun! NOT! I definitely know my new address by heart now cuz I typed it 842 times. So that's good, I guess. LOL!
Our closing on Friday took literally 22 minutes. Our real estate agent timed it. She said it was a record. We're awesome....or maybe we just sign our name EXTRA fast....not sure.
Either way. I'm a new homeowner. Husband owns 2 homes....and this Friday we will officially be Landlords. So, we're going to need prayer for that...please and thank you!
I'm typing this up on Friday night because we won't have internet until Tuesday....so lets hope that I'll be back in full force come Wednesday!
Thanks girls!

Not so Skinny jeans

After I gave birth to Chloe and lost the 20-30 lbs that I lost right away, I was in a size 9 skinny jeans. Not so skinny, right? Nope, not really.
But, here is what I look like NOW in my size 9 skinny jeans! Hell to the YEA!!!!!

The only good thing about this picture is the fact that these pants are so big on me....but don't mind the bulge stomach! I had JUST ate, and I was drinking. So I was a little bloated. LOL!

You can't really tell from this angle that they are big on me, but you can see that they aren't pasted on me....seriously, these pants used to look painted on me! So, this is like HUGE for me.

I know this doesn't look like much, but these are the only jeans I have that I bought big that would show my weight loss. And they are skinny jeans, so of course they aren't going to look huge on me because they are the stretchy jean type. But the way they feel is all that matters to me!

Dear Work
Thank you for the very generous gift that you gave us at the meeting last weekend, and also. I'm going to miss you building....it's been a great 4.5 years. But moving to the warehouse is going to be a great new start!! I can't wait!
Dear Chloe
I really hope that this move isn't going to ruin your sleep....you are SUCH a great sleeper and we're going to try and make it as easy and painless for you as possible.
Dear New house
I cannot wait until we are settled into you. You are the perfect home for us, and it's going to be an amazing rest of our lives living in you! So, please be good to us!
Dear Renters,
I just ask one thing of you. Please take care of our house. It's been a great home for us to live in the past 7 years. We brought our baby home to this house and we have loved every minute of living here. But starting next week she is yours to take care of. So, please do so and keep her nice and clean. Thank you!
Dear Vacation,
Please hurry up and get here. I feel like I can't wait one more minute for you. And I know that after moving homes and moving buildings at work, I'm going to need every single second of vacation that I can get.
Dear Belongings,
Would it be possible for you to move yourself? Like, pack and somehow make it to the new house on your own without me having to lift a finger? That would be amazing!
Dear Husband,
Thank you for being you!! Thank you for being the best Husband and the best Daddy to our little princess!! She loves you more then life and I love you so much that you will never ever know!! You have made me the person that I am today and you are my rock! I love you!

Today is the Day!!!

Today is the day you guys! The day we get the keys to our new house! I can't believe it. It's been a long, long road. But it's finally here. After all the houses that we found and fell in love with that didn't work out, we finally found the house that we loved more then anything and we GOT IT! We are so overly excited, and cannot wait to start a new chapter in our lives.
I want to thank you so much for following me through this journey! It means so much to me.

Here she is! Our new house!!

So What! Wednesday

This week I'm saying So WHAT! If:
  • I'm looking forward to NOT having to do ANYTHING to our new house when we move in.
  • The only thing I want to do is redo Chloe's room at the new house.
  • I wish that I could live in Maine, Wisconsin and Ohio AND Michigan. All at once. I love blog friends!
  • I got a HUGE bottle of Skinny Margarita from my work meeting on Saturday, and I have yet to crack it open. I'm saving it for our first night in our new house....
  • For the second night in the new house, I got a HUGE bottle of wine. Yep, I'm set for the first few nights. LOL!!!
  • I bought about 5 Mickey Mouse DVD's for the trip to Maine...I think that should keep Chloe occupied for 16 hours. What do you think?
  • I want to go clothes shopping....Like, I'm DYING!
  • I just want July 13th to get here like NOW! I cannot WAIT to meet my blog BFF Stepha!!!

Tuesday Tidbits

  • Part of me is really excited to move, but the other part...I'm like weird about it. It will be a bittersweet day for me.
  • I'm really worried about moving the cat. I know she's going to freak out and probably hide for about 2 days. I just hope that she gets used to the new house quick and loves it just as much as we do!
  • Next week my work is moving to a new building. It's our warehouse that we're moving to, so it's not like we don't know the building, but it's still going to be weird to be in a new place at work AND at home.
  • I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with all the room that we're going to have at the new house.
  • I'm pretty excited for Chloe's 2nd birthday theme. It's going to be Minnie Mouse. And I'm looking at a few things on Etsy that I'm really thinking about! I just have to wait until Friday before I order it because I want to wait until we sign on the dotted line for the house to make sure of the address for the invites.
  • I think I'm most excited to furniture shop then anything else. We get new living room furniture AND new bedroom furniture!! Hell to the YEA!
  • Oh, and can you say NEW, BIGGER closet?!?! Eeeek!
  • I'm addicted to the Chobani Greek Yogurt! The Apple Cinnamon is my fave and it's only 140 calories for the whole 6 oz container! Can't beat that with a stick people!!
  • I also need to thank the makers of Naked Fruit drinks for my recent weight loss. 3 weeks ago I was down 1.8 lbs, 2 weeks ago it was 1.2 lbs, and then last week it was 1 lbs exactly. If I keep drinking those things for breakfast I'm thinking I can drop another lb and then I'll be AT my goal!! So, look for a goal MET post next week if I do it!
  • Got some pretty exciting things coming soon for my blog! I can't wait to share! Stay tuned!
Thanks for reading ladies! Hope you are all having a great week. I know I am, and I can't wait until Friday!

Weekend Recap

This weekend was pretty for me! Saturday morning my company had our Semi Annual meeting. We get together and go over the past 6 months and hope that we get some kind of bonus. And the one thing that we always look forward to at the summer meeting is the summer survival kit. My company is always so generous!! This meeting we got the usual bag of tortillas chips and salsa, popcorn, trail mix, bottle of wine, box of red wine, bottle of Skinny Margarita, $25 Olgas gift card, movie tickets and ice pops. AND I got $600. We have a rating system and if you are a 4.0 player then you get a little more then if you are say 3.5-3.75....so that made me HAPPY! I was 4.0!!!
So, we had a flash mob planned to surprise the CEO! His wife planned it and picked all the people. That turned out SOOO good! We were so nervous, but it turned out awesome!
Then after the meeting a few of my fave work girls went to On The Border for lunch! That was fun. Just a bunch of us having some mexican and some drinks and talking about whatever. So much fun! We laughed A LOT!!!!
Afterwards, I went and got Husband his Fathers Day gift. 2 games of 18 holes of golf with a cart! He's going to love it! Saturday night he was talking about how he really wants to golf a lot this summer. Well, there ya go!! That will get you at least 2 games!
Oh, and then we went to look at furniture for the new house. Since we're closing on Friday we need to get some stuff ordered. But we're going to open a credit card to get the financing so we can't order until Friday after we sign the papers.
And then Sunday being Fathers Day, you would think it would be a relaxing day...doing a little bit of this and a whole lot of that. Well, we did a whole lot of packing and took 2 trips to the storage unit. Went grocery shopping and.....that's about it. We were both exhausted by the end of the day. But it was a good day.
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

Closing Time

Yep, you read that right!!!!! We're closing on the house!!! I cannot wait!!!!!!
June 22nd at 1:00pm!!!!!!!!!
Let's take you back to Thursday June 7th. Husband emailed me at work and said that the Mortgage Insurance company faxed over an employment verification form form my HR department to fill out and return, and they haven't gotten it back yet. I immediately emailed the VP of HR and waited and waited just to find out that she was in a 2 hours long meeting, and then leaving for a lunch meeting after that. So, as soon as I saw everyone from the meeting back out, I went to her office and asked if she had gotten it and she said that she did and that she'd make sure it got completed and back to the insurance company by Friday the 8th. Well, I guess that's alright. I mean, since we can't move forward until they get this, I'd like for them to do it NOW! But I'm not going to argue with the VP of HR. Not the best idea....so I just waited.
Emailed HR the next day making sure they hadn't forgotten about it, and they emailed back saying that it was faxed out the day before. So happy to hear that!!!
So then yesterday after just kind of trying to forget about it, I was doing my work like a good little girl and then got a text from husband. It simply said Closing is scheduled for 22nd at 1:00!

So there you have it girls, a week from today, I will be a homeowner. Husband already is...but my name isn't on this house. So, it's going to be an exciting day for me.
Thanks for reading and following along on this house journey! I can't wait to start posting pictures of the house!!!

Everybody Do The Cool Whip!

As a kid we always used "COOL WHIP whipped topping" with all our desserts. Specially when it came to pumpkin or apple pie during the holidays! That was my favorite! And I honestly don’t remember a holiday without. And to this day, I still use it on my pies. I also loved to eat the COOL WHIP with fresh fruit! Made it that much better.
Now, as an adult, I enjoy eating my fruit with the COOL WHIP Lite. Makes me feel a little bit better that it's not all the calories, but it's still just as sweet and tasty! And I love letting my daughter eat it on her fruit. She loves the stuff! She dips her strawberries in it and then says “Mmmm, Yummy!!”

Last year was the first year I made my husband a cake with the COOL WHIP frosting. He LOVED it! And it’s so easy to make too.
I'm not a fan of the tub of frosting that you can buy already made to just slap on a cake. I enjoy making my own using COOL WHIP! It's so quick and easy, and so tasty!! And it comes out so rich and creamy. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted, by far!
***
All you do is combine these items:
·  1 cup milk
·  1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant pudding mix {any flavor}
· 1/4 cup powdered sugar
· 8 ounces COOL WHIP
~
· Mix pudding mix, sugar and milk.
· Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes.
· Add COOL WHIP and mix well!
***
And, there you have it! Probably the worlds BEST homemade frosting you will ever taste! To Die For!
It’s funny to think about how things kind of follow a certain path. When I was a kid, we used COOL WHIP for our desserts or fruits, and now that I’m a Mommy, I use it in my family and serve it with those special treats! Make the homemade frosting with it because I think that it gives it that little special touch of {this is my creation}. I feel like it’s so much better and using a little bit of food coloring you can make it any color you want, and I think that’s the best part about using it in the homemade frosting! You can create any theme you want for the cake of your choice. Birthdays, holidays or whatever it may be! I know that come this August, I’ll be making my daughters 2nd birthday cake and I know for sure I’ll be making the frosting and using our tried and true COOL WHIP frosting recipe! Can’t ever go wrong with that!

So WHAT! Wednesday!

Linking up with Shannon over at Life After I "Dew" for another week of saying SO WHAT!
This Week I'm saying SO WHAT! If:
  • I haven't read my 50 Shades Darker in like over a week...I've just been so busy with work and blogging and moving. I'll pick it back up when everything slows down.
  • Chloe didn't nap AT ALL on Sunday. She slept for the 20 minute ride home from the in-laws, barely ate dinner, bathed at 6:40 and asleep by 8:10! That's OK with me!!
  • Tomorrow Chloe will be out late again...we have Auntie Erins graduation ceremony to go to....at 7:00pm! Ugh. I'm excited for it though. Should be fun!
  • We will be sleeping in a completely empty house for a few days depending on what day we end up closing. Hoping to hear more this week....
  • Chloe fell out of her bed for the first time EVER on Suday night. Girl got right back up into bed and cuddled right up and went back to sleep. Not a peep out of her! So proud!!
  • I think my drinking Naked drinks for the past 2 weeks in the morning has been an aid in my weight loss...I don't really care though. I just like seeing that number go DOWN!
Well, I'm done for now. Go link up with Shannon!!

I took a video and a picture to show you!
You're going to die of cuteness! I promise!

And then here she is telling the Butterflies to "come here"

How Blogs Make Friends

Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I was the most popular girl in school, or that I was the head cheerleader or that I was the prettiest....cuz I was not. I was none of those things. I was actually kind of picked on throughout Middle School, and kind of came into my own in high school but just stuck to my group of friends.
After meeting Husband, that was kind of it for me. I was graduated from high school and done with that part of my life. So I was ready to get out there. Husband proposed to me when I was 19 years old. (On my 19th birthday to be exact....) and after that it was just all wedding wedding wedding!!! I didn't have time for friends. And then after Chloe came into this world, there is even less time. I literally have NO IRL friends. Sad? No, I don't think so. I have my work girls. But I mean, I don't hang out with any of them after work besides my girl Mallory over at I'm Mallory and These are my Thoughts. But I've known her since we were like REALLY young. So that's different. We're kind of like sisters.
So then we come to the time when I started this here blog. I had absolutely NO intentions of getting any followers....did not even think that I would make it as far as I have. I have 92 followers, and that number grows daily! But the real reason for this post is to mention the amount of love and respect I've gotten over this blog. It's amazing. You girls that read about my life are just the bees knees!! I love you all sooo much!!! But, there is one girl that I especially must say that has grown on me and I just can't get enough of her! Her name is Stephanie and she writes the Ecstatically Us blog. I'm not going to link her blog because she has chosen to go private, but I just want her to know that she was one of the very first blogs that I started reading when I first started writing, and from the very first post that I read and her "About Me" section, I thought that we had SO much in common, and that she was just an amazing girl through and through! And now? We Hey Tell pretty much every day! And....Husband and I and some of our best friends (IRL) are going to Maine in July and Stephanie and I are trying to figure out a way that we can meet....she lives a few hours from where we will be, but her and her Hubs are planning a road trip around the same time! How stinkin perfect would that be?! Her baby girl Arabella is 1 month younger then my Chloe, and I think they would just be perfect little friends!!!
So, Stephanie, if you are reading this. I just want to thank you for being a GREAT Bloggy friend, and I hope that one day we get to be IRL friends!!! <3
